How can I tell if my 95 civic is an ex or dx?

how can i tell if my 95 civic is an ex or dx? there is no badging whatsoever on the car.

Easiest way is with the vin.

For Coupe:

XXXEJ1 -> EX
XXXEJ2 -> DX

For Sedan:

XXXEH9 -> EX
XXXEG8 -> DX/LX

Only if it is completly stock, i have seen far to many cars that we swapped and still looked completly stock.

the easiest way as posted already will be by the vin (1 located on the left side of the dash by the windshield, and 1 in the driver side door jam). the second way is to check for the following:
sunroof
tachometer on the cluster
power options
tweeters in the doors

although the lx models come with power options, i dont believe they came with sunroofs or in coupes.

yea i knew for some reason the 94-95s came with tweeters (like 92hbs wired for vtax sauce), but i could have sworn ive been in a few coupes with OE tweeters.

They came with them, just only in '94 - '95 models, '93s didn't have them (there were no '92 coupes)

Interesting to know...I'm helping a friend with a 93 coupe and it has the tweeters...and didn't see them when I was looking up stuff on the parts diagrams online...that could explain this mess.

Aftermarket sunroofs don't look the same.

An OE sunroof requires a roof skin swap.

The sunroof is an easy way (since you don't even have to see inside the car), but the VIN is the most foolproof way to tell.
