you have to take your whole gauge cluster out the replace each light bulb with an amber one. Or they also sell amber 'condom' you place over the light bulb. There is an old write up on here. Try searching for it

Def search man I've seen a bunch of these threads in the past. Another method is using a special spray that coats your bulbs with amber

Go to autozone or o'reillys and tell them that you need to know what type of bulb goes in your gauge cluster...then tell them that you want amber. they should be the same number but end in an A or something like that. You will have to take out your gauge cluster to replace each one of them. It's easy tho. I did it on my 93 EJ1. They're a couple bucks for a pack of them. My gauge cluster had like 8 of them i believe. I would recommend getting the amber colored bulb as opposed to the spray or the slips. Eventually the color will wear down but it always seemed to me like the color from the slips wear down sooner. Plus they're cheap enough. I also kno the trick for getting the clock on the dash to light up amber without buying a JDM one...and it only costs a couple bucks...but it's a secret. I had to figure it out on my own. Good luck

What you will need is 2 #74 and 5 #24 amber bulbs. You can get them from autoilluminations.com. I picked up a set of red and amber and personally like the reds more. I tried autozone, but they didn't have them in colored versions.

if you have ANY auto parts stores they will have the bulbs either use the amber bulbs or use an orange sharpie on the clear ones. they match my jdm clock perfect...
