Default HOW IN THE BLOODY HELL DO YOU INSTALL A CTR CLIMATE CONTROL IN A US CAR???

I got a question for all of you.

Call me an idiot, but I tried putting my CTR (99-00) Climate control in my Civic (99-00) and that **** don't fit.

The vents are too far to the left side to lign up with the ducts (if you look at pics of them you will see the vents are offset to the opposite side by a few inches - they hit the control box), also the climate control cage is indented on the left side to fit the climate box, but not on the right side.

That **** dosn't even come close to fitting.

I assume I need to find a rhd air duct and a rhd radio/climate cage?

Any help would be great. Thanks

just cut the vetns, otherwise your gonna need to pull your whole dash.

..will the rhd boxes even FIT with an lhd dash? iw ould think if you put the rhd box n vents in then they would just collide with the dash since its setup for lhd. just a thought.

There is a 4 inch arm extension to mount the air ducts to on the left. So there is room to put a rhd air duct. Assuming that the air box has the same size output duct.

I appreciate all the input. Has anyone done this properly or know of anyone that has? Or does everyone just cut the vents and half *** it?

Ive seen a lot of these in cars so someone has to have done this right.

I figured someone has done this the RIGHT way and I figuered this was the place to ask, so negative comments aside, any help would be nice. Thanks

i'm not too sure if this'll work, but you might want to look into the 96-98 air ducts...when i did my 99-00 climate control into my 96-98, i noticed that the reason you had to switch out the center ducts was b/c the 96-98 ventts came out towards the left more...if that's the case, it MIGHT work w/ the JDM one since the controls are located on the right, and the vents are to the left more also...research it more and ask people who've already done the conversion...i'm sure someone will help you...gl
