Deetz, correct me if im wrong please. But he should be just fine with aftermarket mounts.
Op, search into other mounts, i have heard of those once before and they only lasted about 6 months.

your saying that the drop mounts are no good? any reason? havent picked them up yet. I was gonna get the obx ones or innovative, but a friend can get me the drops for the same and they are staniless ... but new to the market.

you dont have to be a douche. I read your post. you didnt say why, you said "i have heard of those once before and they only lasted about 6 months." you didnt say what broke? what car they were in or the setup. they are lifetime warrantee as well. I agree that once is enough if the one bad set is on a car of yours (whoevers car they break on). I havent been able to get a lot of info on these.

I was not being any a douche, if i wanted to be a douche i wouldnt have warned you about the cheep shitty mounts your looking to buy. The bushings were done in 6 months. The only thing they did right was held it tight, but it rattled like a mother, a trade off of stiff bushings though, but slowly but serly they failed, ill see if i can get a pic, but the mounts were just tearing ino peices.
buddy called asking of the warranty and they voided it due to the fact we didnt have a shop install them, and might i add customer service blew.

OEM engine mounts + Energy Suspension bushings = WIN
Or just OEM, they never fail you and you KNOW they last for at least 10 years.

^thats not 100% true, the driver side mount that is liqud fuild whatever the heck it is, breaks from time to time. I will agree oem is great, but the driver side mount isnt perfect.

98? do you have pics of your friends mounts? were they stainless? what color were the inserts? these arent cheap ... they are as much as hasports etc. and havent been out very long at all. thx for your input.

Re: how bad is it b16?
if your b16 is running a stock clutch it would be okay to run it without the mounts if all the other mounts are in good condition. i wouldnt launch it or shift hard thou. im running the energy suspension inserts and i favor them over the very vibraty hasports and they seem to work just the same.

All i remember is the bright green and ugly bushings, unfortunetly no pictures of them.
as much as hasport? hmm his cost dang near noithing. Either way, i still wound not get them. I would never ever pay that much for those mounts, while you can get hasport. Hasports quality has been proven many times over again.

98: ... I dont know you so Ill just say this. I hope there is some miscommunication. My buddys company is the first to rep this product. They havent even been on the market for 6 months yet (only 4 or 5). if youre messing with me then I just wanna say that its not cool to smear someones product. Espescially these days, a lot of people are losing their homes and businesses, integrity in business is important. The owner of the company has been contacted about your comments (to let him know there was a potential issue with a product) and HONEST input regarding products is important. If your friend has an issue he might want to contact them again ... assuming we are talking about the same company. good luck.
the point of this was just to get a review from someone with direct knowledge. have a great day guys, wish me luck.

Re: how bad is it b16?
he isn't the first person that i've heard say drop engineering isn't great. someone else was on here bout a month ago asking about them. and no one heard much of em.
now your going to pay the same to get a tested proven and known GOOD mount for new ones to the market? yea they MAY be great but your not getting a good enough deal on them to matter. and since it just started bugs kinks and defects are bound to happen. not to be mean but as you said they've only been out for 4-5 months and youd take that as a long enough time for solid input on the quality of these mounts?
also if one person on HT bad mouthing a company is enough to put it out of business they were going down long before now.

Re: how bad is it b16?
fair enough. Im just saying to be careful that we are talking about the same product etc. I have been on the fence and the deal is marginal, but i can deal directly with someone if the mounts arent right.

Re: how bad is it b16?
i'd say get them and test them, that is the only way to really find out..
back to your actual question, I ran my b16 without the torque mounts, but I would definately get them on there soon.

Re: how bad is it b16?
b16=no power=shitty mounts will do lol
jk... I say oem or aftermarket mounts will do just fine.. a b16 isnt that torquy like an h22. You dont even need the support mounts at all but its nice to know you have them.
I've been running my h22 h2b setup for 2 years now with just hasport billet mounts. No support mounts either and they still are bullet proof.
