Default How to add sway bars to a DX?

What parts do I need to buy? Think I'm going with the stock teg bar. In the rear I'll do an ITR bar.

For the front you will not only need the swaybar assembly, but also the lower control arms off of a EX or SI model. The DX did not come with any sway bars stock. You didnt mention the year of you car, but if it is a 92-95 go to this link for install of the rear bar http://www.fastasknutz.com/team/just...ybar/index.htm
If you have a 96-00 DX go to this link for the rear bar install http://hybrid2.honda-perf.org/tech/ITRon6G.html
Hope I helped out a bit. Also, if you are running a 22 or 23mm bar (either USDM or JDM ITR rear swaybar) it would be very benificial for you to use either a beaks or BSQ reinforcement kit to aviod subframe tear. If you run the SI or GSR 14mm bar the subframe should be fine. If you have any other questions, ask away. Rick

actually u can get the ST kit...im very happy with it..front bar attaches to the lca's with brackets so u dont need the ex kind that came with holes....and the rears attach at the shock bolts. 243.50 shipped from summit. excellent mod.

good link. I forgot to mention I have a 94 coupe. If I add the rear bar with teg LCA's. the Beak's kit, r bar, and prothane bushings; is it needed to add a front right away? The reason I'm asking is to figure out what I need to rip off when I go to the junkyard. Also can I just add the EX/SI bar and all parts, or is it needed to go with a larger R or SI bar?

simple, Eibach kit. No need for Si or whatever LCA's. you keep your stock parts.

For the front, truthfully any sway bar will do. The larger the front swaybar the more you car understeers, so I would run as small of a sway as possible up front (the EX). As for the rear, the Si's is a 14mm which, in conjunction with a EX front sway will make your car feel more neutral in the turns (no understeer, but maybe a slight hint of oversteer, it depends on your suspension set up). Either ITR bar (22mm or 23mm) will cause your car to oversteer more in the corners, which is useful on the auto-x track, but not really in the streets. For the choice on the rear bar, consider what you are going to be using the car for. Rick

I'm trying to get a decent suspension for auto-x. That's the reason for choosing the ITR bar in the rear. How well would the ITR rear work with an Eibach front kit like that other guy said? Right now I'm running Yellows with Neuspeed Sports. No other suspension mods.

If your refering to Mista Bone's post, then the eibach sway bar set is a set. Front and rear sway bar. If you want a daily driver/auto X setup then you could go with no front sway bar and a gsr or del sol rear sway bar. It's pretty nuetral. I ran with this setup for awhile. I liked it.
