ive got this little bubble ding in my hood from my valve cover hitting the bottom of my hood .. im looking for a new hood.. has anyone had this issue and if so what did you do about it?

heat up the area with heat gun
and band it back very very slowly

I had the same issue awhile back,....Id be willing to bet that one of your engine mounts (probably the head mount) is cracked. You can either buy a new mount/mounts or go the cheap route and fill your mount/mounts with polyurethane or a similar compound. If your not familiar with filling your mounts though,.. Id just get a new one. Check to see which one is cracked.
