Re: hood pins (streetdreams02)
If its a VIS hood i would put the hood pins in where it starts to pop up from the B-Series. When i do mine (next week probably) im going to install them where the corner lights meet the fender, if no one does a write up on it ill do one for my car, its not that hard.

Re: hood pins (streetdreams02)
on your front Radiator support where the Hood latch is... There will be 2 holes an even distanance apart from the head lihgt brakets
, depending on the brand of pins you may have to drill them out to enlarge the holes. Mount the bolt half using upper and lower bolts only like half tite. Now this is what I did... Take some Grease and rub it on top of the bolt. Now close the hood lightly till it touches. Now where the 2 grease marks are Drill them out with a pilot Bit ( very small ) now get a Bit that is the same Diameter as the Bolt. and drill it thru. now close the hood to see fitmentthe top half of the pin is much larger then the Hole it self, use this to your advantage so you can widen the holes in the hood. once the hood opens and closes smoothly,
take the top part of the pin and clip it threw each bolt.once they are in a spot that seems to be correct, take a small screw driver and apply mucho pressure and put all 3 screws in... and Viola! done.
You may have to pull and push and bend a lil' on the bolt to make it fit 100%
Just take your time is very easy, just dont get carried away with the drill...
