I'll take your odds................and double them! 28:1 you cant get it in the car and have it remain driveable. Lay it on top of your stock hood, bungee cord it down using the fender wells, and maybe no one will notice when you drive home with it that the hood isnt actually attached to the car.
By the way, this is almost the dumbest thing I've ever seen anyone type. Do you own a TAPE MEASURE? Think of the logistics, its probably not going to happen.

Beware, until you get the hood on your steering is going to be a bit erratic. The hood also will not fit in the back and yes the hood will try and lift from the bed of a truck. Tie it down and call it a day or ride without a hood.

Yeah...as a matter of fact, i put a carbon fiber hood (for EG), and a mugen front and rear lip in the back of my friend's EF hatchie just last night- EASILY (well, it helped that his Sparcos had sliders cuz we had to slide those forward a bit).
But i don't see that happening in a coupe.

Re: A Hood in my Back seat? (Elko)
I put a 99-00 civic hood on top of my brother's Audi A4 once, and tied it down with packing tape around the roof with all the windows down, and it was fine, drove like 25 miles on the streets hitting over 50 MPH

no wayyoull getthe hod through the door. maybe a ef hood cause they are small. or maybe fit onein a hatch. once a long time ago ihad to pick up a jdm itr cf hood and i thought i could getit inside the back of a 99 lx 4 door. haha nopppeee. soi had to drive home from vis with it taped to the roof of the car. it worked fine, i had the front of the hood fold over the front of the roof by the windsheild. but as soon as i hit 45 mph the air would start going between the car and the hood and it would start slappin the roof of the car and i was gonna fly off. so i had to put tape all along the front of the hood to the window so the air would flow up the windshield over the cf hood. that worked good. drove like 100 miles like that

dude i am known for driving my cars with out hoods. Its like my trade mark. just what i do. and people give me **** for it but truth is they always say they wanna get around to trying it. i mainly do it now because i wrecked my hood rolling my car. and its looks so hott when its off anyways. Any how to the point i don't feel any difference. i can see where you are comming from but i don't get any steering problems. it keeps the engine running cooler and for short ram instakes instant cold air intake!
Second it sounds like this kidd is gonna steal it! evryone watch out!

not saying it will work, but maybe if you remove passenger seat and get the hood to fit sideways.... somehow
again, i don't know if this will work.
