Keep the body kit and big rims on there. That should keep them away. (atleast the smart ones.)

Get the JDM window Visors, a pager alarm, tilt sensor, autolock, fuel cut off switch, detach steering wheel. Park in the garage or driveway with a motion sensor light, hopefully they dont tow it. but if they want it that bad theyll get it as sad as it is you can only slow them down.

*****WARNING RIDICULOUS CONTENT*******

1)Put a trailer hitch on.

2) No, really put it on and weld it.

3) Attach your car to somethng ridiculously large that your civic couldn't pull like a travel trailer.

4) Put a super-duper tongue-lock on that. (Chances are the idiots will have never attempted to "f" with one of those.)

5) If they do steal it, it would be very hard for them to get too far or do it and be unnoticed.

a fuel cut off is the oldest trick in the book and Thiefs are going to know when they hot wire it, well actually just screw driver it and they dont hear the pump prime theyll know whats up and figure it out.

you need to have several things for security

iono, a well hidden cut off switch is always a good saftey to measure, that, an alarm, a club, make sure u get one of those loud alarms ones and put it hwere you can't really get to it (or hook up a few with independent circuits)

But like others have said...if the thief wants ur car bad enough, he's going to get it..

I witnessed a jacking of a something, I wanan say it was an integra, but I dont' think it was, think it might have been a 2 door accord, anyways, they smashed the window, alarm went off, popped the hood, d/c the battery terminal (had the socket already), while one guy was d/c the battery term, the other guy was hooking the winch up to it, pulled it right up on the flatbed (in gear, w/ e-brake on and all), straightened out the flat bed, didn't bother to tie it down or nothing, released the power switch thing on that flatbed and took off...

Whole thing took less than a minute, car was in mint condition ('cept for the broken window), and alarm soudned for a total of 8 seconds, TOPS!

But it was alright, friend called the cops w/ the license plate # of the truck, it didn't get more than 10 miles away from the track b4 the cops picked 'em up, some boys from a garage in the area were on the prowl I guess :-\

Anyways, car theifs can be very very very gay, and creative...

I agree security should be done in layers...
But discouraging a fuel cut-off "because they'll figure it out" is just silly. Put them in hard to find, or hard to reach places. If they are placed well enough, it'll take them forever to find them (giving you time to load the weapons).. or if placed well-enough, they won't find them at all.

security well never stop theft. It slows it down. If they get in, and you have it layered with a club, clutch lock, siren, fuel cut and some other goodies it take them a while to figure it all out. ANd if they dont, they will still grab something like cd's, deck ,shift ****, simple **** they know they can grab if that cant get the car to start/move
