Default Honda name for this part...

I need to buy the a coil spring insulator for my EG. My Eibach springs are making a ton of noise when compressing and decompressing. I'm pretty sure the insulator is shot so I'm looking to buy a replacement from a Honda dealer but the guy has no idea what i'm talking about.

What is the technical name for the Coil Spring Insulator?

it's Spring mounting rubber...

but the problem is in the OEM shocks...try switching to sport shocks like KONIsport, they have rotational plates on damper (on which the spring goes!)...

Yes, but what is the name for it in that diagram.

My Honda dealer wants the factory name for it..

He says, I quote "what the hell is a isolator?!"

Some isolators are actually wrapped around the coils, i dont know if you can buy those. You need the isolators on the top(#10 in the diagram)?

I'll just order all the parts that make the spring stop making noise..

So part number #10, anything else?

if you are at the dealer tell him to print the picture and you can point out what you want. or tell him over the phone that you need # 10 from the strut diagram. that is not the part # its just a reference # in the picture
