hi all
well i have been having a problem with my civic, it is a honda civic sport 1.4i manual nighthawk black in colour, british version, with spoilers, well all started nearly a year ago where i felt that it started to develop a sticking acceleratior syndrome, got the emergency guys out and he stated that it is tha part where the accelerater cable that was going wrong and he could not give me a pricing for it. i hence took it to my mechanic who told me to take it to honda. i so did honda did not find any fault on it, they stated that it was fine, took it back to my mechanic he did not find anything wrong with it, they both stated that the accelerator was fine, but the problem is that my car goes throught periods where i get this problem then it then stops for a while and starts again. some time it stuck and the car is like in cruise crontrol, or even acelerate more when i release the gas pedal.i also found one thing i dont know if this is normal, if you get the break point with the clutch and then press it again, the engine pressure gauge goes up then dont, not by a lot but 0.5rpm more than usual,
please anyone has any idea what is wrong with my buddy.
