Honda Civic VX Just got it!!! Whoot!
Alright you guys don't laugh but I just recently purchased a decent 1994 Honda Civic 3dr VX. Everything is fairly stock except for the gay altezza tail lights. I've searched the forum for my d15z1 motor, and i found little to no luck with it.
My question is what are my gains if I swapped a d16z6 head onto my d15 block?
Do I have to deal with any wiring issues? I know I have to get a p28 ECU. but what about the engine wiring?
Also what other gains will I get if I swapped for a d16z6 tranny also? I'm looking for good gains.
What other mods can I do to make it a good streetable car?

I'd swap a B-series motor in there. If not, D16z6 full swap is fair. I don't see any use swapping any other vtec head on the D15. That's just me.

I would also suggest an exhaust setup, I would recommend Apexi and Greddy, also a header/intake. And maybe even a new camshaft/cam gear to boot.

I'm wanting to do a B series swap now!! since you guys convinced me somwhat. Well I've been wanting to just wanted to see what can I get out of that VTEC-E Engine.
What will I need to do a Bseries swap into my EG? Since it's a VX will I have to do any wiring? Forgot! I'm getting a b18a/b swap with GSR/SI hydro tranny. I've been reading that it's somewhat of a direct bolt on if I use DC motor mounts. I might go with the jim fab motor mounts. are they good?
