People are never happy no matter what. If you get a turbo will 6-8psi be good enough? Won't you want forged internals and more boost? 18-20psi? and a stand alone ECU that you can tune and toy with? Plus a limited slip diff? oh and don't forget the alcohol injection

Maybe you can make your civic AWD somehow too, and get a cage. Then you can do the Pikes Peak Hill Climb next year. Honda will pick you up as their posterchild and give you all sorts of money. Plus you will have earned the respect of everyone. I say you do it

well first of all things before you get flamed for posting this, is you can find tons of threads on this!! search is user friendly!!!

supercharge= constant power for all power bands

turbo = needs to spool up but produces more power!!

and to a different poster: HOW the heck do you fit BOTH into ur car??

I rode in a 71 pantera that had a 351. It was twin turbo'ed and supercharged. Of course it was mostly for show, but I will say that it was pretty damn fast. Fastest car I have ever ridden in by a large margin.

the problem you run into with running both is over boosting the supercharger, and since the supercharger acts as the intake manifold, you'd have to fab up a manifold that the supercharger could sit on, yet still be able to accept charged air from the turbo without running it through the supercharger (the supercharger would have it's own seperate intake)......big fab job, and probably not enough space under the hood to seat the supercharger either behind the new manifold or on top of it. But then it's just a matter of switching the supercharger off once the turbo is spooled, then you'd have m4dd third gear vtAk. Doable.....but expensive.
