I have the sedan, it is a pretty slow motor, hate to burst your bubble. A good place to start out though is a full tune up. Plugs, filters, wires, valve adjustment. That will at least help you become more familiar with your machine. Most people here are going to suggest a swap and turbo.

oh trust me i know its slow...i floor the gas pedal and it only SOUNDS like its going fast but in reality its probably the slowest car on the road! so, by tune up what exactly do you mean? i always wondered the true definition of a tune up lol sorry if i seem stupid btw

Tune up means to restore to like new performance.

ohhhh...ok be honest, should i even bother doing this with this car, is it worth it? or should invest in another machine? im not really looking to mod this car to race other people or anything i just want it to be fast. i want it to actually be fast instead of sounding like it. performance would be first, looks come afterwards

Like I said, I have the exact same engine in my car. It is all up to how much money you have to spend on making it faster. Budget mods like a cold air intake and exhaust might buy you a few extra HP but if you want any sort of ***** in it, be ready to spend some money.

Yeah, I have done the exhaust, cold air intake, my head has been shaved, ARP head studs, a few other things but that's mostly maintenance. I am planning on putting a better camshaft in next.

pull your motor sell on craigslist. next go to autowreaker and buy h22a. next go home rebuild motor with good internals. next get turbo. next run 15-20 lbs boost. now your car will be fast.

Not much, prolly a couple hundred total. AEM CIA's are a bit overpriced if you ask me. That is one part you can actually get away with using an eBay special on. The camshaft will prolly set me back another couple hundred but it will be worth while.

Spending 150 + dollars on a cold air intake doesn't do much. And is most likely a waste of money, Best bang is swap out the d-series motor,

Ither buy a b18 out of a integra, an extra 20-40 hp over what your dseries is. (and can always ls/vtec) (read up on that..) and start from there, or more complex b18c, b16, b20 etc. Higher end motors.

Can always buy new springs and struts, make your car have a better ride, stiff ride, lower ride, etc.

Exhaust and air intake will add prob minimal hp. Not worth the 500-600$ on it unless your motor is done. By that time, with the money spent on a airintake and loud exhaust u could have a motor swap. or half of one anyways...

FAQS section has plenty of info, how to's and etc.. Its your guide,
Just read up on different swaps, all depends on your budget, time, handywork, and what you want this car to do.

Read into buying things off ebay, alot of cheap or knockoffs items on there. or things that are cheap to fit a budget, read up on things first before you buy, Headaches and what not can be saved in the future.
