Are there any other fuel sending units that can fit in a 97 CX Hatchback?

I'm having very difficulty finding the fuel sending unit for this model and they all seem to be discontinued. I'm open to buying a used one or from another model that can fit. Like can the DX model fit?

Did you check at AutoZone or Rockauto?

Yes it seems like they only have the fuel pump but not the sending unit.

Would you consider a used one? eBay returns are easy if product does not work.

The first link also shows compatibility with various 97 Civic trims.

The second link says it's compatible with 96-98 Civics.

Yes I saw those but they look different from the CX hatchback, not sure it they will work.

I put it back into the car else there would be a big hole and gas splashing out everywhere

That crude diagram should not be used to determine whether the eBay Civic sending units are a match for your car.
