honda civic 1998 EX...........manual tranny question?
i have a 98 civic ex coupe 5speed that i bought from a dealer just the other day. i don't see anything wrong with it, but my friend's accord is a manny too and when he drove mines, he noticed that my tranny vibrates all the time. is this normal or is there something wrong? it doesnt effect any driving and shifting. is this something that can be fixed or is it like that? Need your help!

have you checked to make sure your tires are balanced? When mine are out everything vibrates alot.

how bad's the vibration? It could also be loose tranny/engine mounts. Check around or take it back to the dealer you got it from and make them fix it...

Re: honda civic 1998 EX...........manual tranny question? (MugenHondaFormula1)
well, i am back in buffalo, NY now.......bought it in NJ. but all dealers should be able to fix the problem. I am going to take it in and check it out since i have a 2 year warranty on it. also wondering, does putting i/h/e void warranty? because i plan to do that soon and don't want to void the warranty. do i have to let the honda dealer install it for me? thanks for the help guys!
