HKS racing suction intake for civics, Where do I find one?
I was reading the Comptech icebox v. AEM v2 thread, and came across a pic of a HKS intake (not the megaflow filter one) even though it has a megaflow filter on it, on a civic. It was posted by B20bastard, I dont know if that was a pic of his car or what.
I searched and could only find this intake for an rx7 and an mr2, I did come across one website that showed a pic of it on a civic, but it was all in Japanese.
I was wondering if anybody has this intake on their car, or know of a place online that sells them, I really want to check it out.
Thanks in advance.

Re: HKS racing suction intake for civics, Where do I find one? (Quick EX)
I'd like to see pics of it. I've only seen it from the engine bay, and all I see is a part of the tubing and that plastic shield with "HKS Suction" imprinted. Never seen one in pieces before.

HKS Racing Suction Kit is only available for Civic R, Integra R, & S2000. They are a special order item which will take roughly 3-4 weeks. The S2000 intake I have in stock.
List Price for EK9/DC2 is $755.00. Our price $604.00
List Price for S2000 is $790.00. Our price $632.00

For an intake.
I was interested. while some may see the value I just can't justify the cost for a few horses. I love my car but I also don't think that's worth it.

I agree. I love high quality parts for my car, but whoa! That's a grip. That's Mugen intake price range

Re: HKS racing suction intake for civics, Where do I find one? (rodrez)
funny that it costs so much.
The japanese site says retail is 74,800 yen which equals roughly 630 usd.
Still 600 is a lot for just an intake, I just wanted to check it out, I knew it was going to be quite expensive.
Thanks though

That is the pricing we got from HKS and we are one of their main distributors. I'm not sure what the conversion is but you can check with HKS if you like.

Blahaha
I really like some HKS stuff but a $200 AEM looks superior to that.
For $600 I'd take a Mugen.

Hahaha, I agree with you guys on the pricing. But if someone wants one, I'm not going to stop them from picking it up. People were asking about pricing and availability, so I gave it to them. $600 for an intake, I'd rather buy cams. But thats just me.

That's why your shop normally has some sick cars (Assuming its the same SP Engineering that created the Supra 7 and has done a few sick RX-7's).
If someone wants to spend bucket loads of money on a part that isn't that much better then the competition then by all means your a business man. I'd do the same thing.
