Default High Flow Cat

where can i buy a bolt on high flow cat for a 1992-1995 dx hatch.

i just installed my new catback exhaust and had to run a test pipe because the old bolts rusted into the cat.

the car sounds good but will not pass emissions with the test pipe.

where can i buy one? and are they worth the money? any power?

will it add any sound?

whatever... I've used the summit one on a '93 eg coupe and a '95 sol vtec (an eg2) but your phone call info is why I gave the 'milage may vary' edit. I still think they're all the same through '98. If the dealer doesn't know wht it fits then I wouldn't buy it either.

You should put a heatshield on around the test pipe so it looks like its the heatshield for the cat. Most inspection places will just see the heatshield and assume you have a cat. If you still have it or one that will fit you should throw it on there to see if it passes.

stock gsr cat is not the same as the civic. the gsr cats are longer. evidence? compare the header of a gsr vs. an ls, b16a.

civic/delsol 92-95 are all the same. my buddy with a 93 civic dx has the same cat as my 95 delsol. the models that have the cat near the engine bay (VX) are of course different.
