which HID's to Get? for projectors
ok so i have these sonar projectors and white lense stock looking fog lights.
i think the bulb size for the fogs and head lights is h1's
so could i buy 3 h1 HID kits with single beam? with different color temps?
currently i have a single beam h4 with a 12000k set for lowbeam and no high beams and no fog lights?
thanks for your help@!

most of those kits unless they are dual projector eliminate the high beams.
whatever bulb size the housing is, get the correct HID for it and your set. I would stay away from the 10K plus lighting, it's retarded blue and doesn't help lighting at all. Stick with a 5k-6k color to keep the cops off your ***.

12000k is useless for anything other than looks. ive seen this brought up many times and cause im a curious little bastrd i just gotta know it all( doesnt every one hahaha). but in my quest for total domination ive come to find the general consensus is that anything above 8k actually has less light output even though its brighter. but hey dont qoute me, im still a noob at HID's

A 4300K temp bulb will get you the best light output beacause it is the closest to daylight. The reason why it has the best output is because that is what our eyes are used to (daylight). So if you really want ricer blue lights go with 8000K (or whatever you want) low beams and 4300K highs. After all you use your high beams to see more right? It would make sense to have your hight beams produce less light output than your lows. Just my .02.

Ideally not just any projector can be used.. as they have no cutoff or reflectors on them and can blind oncoming cars.
Ever thought about retrofitting tsx projectors, or lexus units?

Just run it like that as long as you don't have 8000k plus attracting cops in the first place you should be fine, although I have 10000k's and got pulled over twice in a year with no tickets don't risk it plus the lighting is crappy stick with 4000k

[QUOTE=topekoms;37755873]screw the light output! as long as it looks nice! any color HID is better than stock stupid halogen bulb.QUOTE]
hahahaha this makes me lol. sure they look "cooler" than standard bulbs but reducing the amount of light you put on the road while blinding other drivers for the sake of looking cool...? so who cares if it works, as long as it looks cool...
