Default HID's in cold weather

For you guys that run HID's year round (cold climates - snow)..what is the effect on HID's if anything? Just curious. I searched but only found the same question, no answers.
Thanks.

well, that's what i wanted to post as well, except, i've read on those HID conversion packages about the constant use of HID's or HID on HID off (high beam/low beam), HID's warming up , etc... so I guess I'm curious too.... H4's are low beam/high beam (not like 9006/9005's), so I'm curious as well.....
