HID question
i gotta question about some HID's out of a 2002 maxima, everyone knows these are probably bagged but w/e thats irrelevant, the question is i have the bulbs and harnesses but no boxes.. is there anyway they can be wired to work with out the boxes?...

are you talking about the " Ballasts " ???
and if you are....the answer is ....NO WAY!!!...your stock harness is NOT going to produce 25000 volts ....EVER!
you need to do a bit of research b4 you think about trying to hook up hid's man!

an hid ballast produces 25000 volts?
on another note, does anyone know if upgraded harnesses are required for a mcculloch hid kit? b/c i am just running them on my stock wire harness they were plug and play.
but yea, you definitely need a ballast for the bulbs to work, how else would they light up?

yeah, ballasts are a must, just search a yard.. for thieves... did you guys hear Nissan is getting sued b/c they didn't tell people that the headlights on maximas were "popular" items for thieves? bs if you ask me, but whatever... maybe we should sue honda since our rides are popular theft items....
