Philips does not make a kit. Vendors bundle components with a Philips ballast and call it a "Philips Kit".

THe most important part is the capsules (bulbs). Make sure they have injection molded bases and that they are OE quality (Philips, Psram, GE).

There are no such thing as "Philips Kit". Philips don't make a kit unless they are OEM. The kit in the groupbuy simply have Philips ballasts but the rest are after-market with cheap Taiwan made bulbs (trust me, I had that same kit before) and cheap wires/connectors.

You get what you pay for. Just because its Philips doesn't mean it's a good kit. Not all bulbs are Philips, and some ballasts claiming to be Philips isn't Philips either. If you can afford it, try Catz HID's or Bellof HID, both high quality HID kits from Japan. If you still want a Philips kit, go to sites like http://www.autolamps-online.com/ who's an authorized dealer of Philips.

Check my sig...current HID's will be thing of the past. Stage III baby
