just bare bulb and the connector, since the jdm headlights h4h bulbs are small there isnt much room to play with, so the oem clip is what is holding the bare bulb down. its not coming out or loose i can tell ya that.

whoa ..good question.. im going to have to check up on them ..
although i dont think i have to worry much ..regular bulbs draw more heat and current than HID's do ..they take only 35w ..so i really doubt they heat up as high to cause the plastic to melt ..but chit ima check.

Looking good man, nice job, can do a close up of how the bulb is holding in place, looks like a cheap way of doing an HID job!!!
Thanks

looks good, but what is that buzzing.
I have this little buzzer that was there when i got the car, buzz's when the lights are on and the car isnt on ..annoying at times but it helps me not leave the lights on by mistake ..i though it was oem until i figured it out.

HID will not melt the headlamps, they burn a lot cooler than halogen does.. if you dont have to worry about halogen melting your lamps, you definetly dont have to worry about HID..
edit:
whoooa man.. i dont mean to hate on your HID..but from that beam pattern, i know 2 things for sure.
1. your halogen bulbs were giving you 100% more usable light..
2. you are blinding EVERYONE that drives in front of you, as well as oncoming traffic.. you might want to work with the beam pattern correction a little bit.
