1997 dx hatch

#1 I just bought a ctr cluster and a/c panel, the cluster install is straight foward but upon installation the srs mil stays lit...is there a difference in wiring between the usdm and jdm clusters? The mil is not lit with my dx cluster and there is no airbag concern.
#2 I removed the screws for the a/c control head and ran a bone tool around the trim panel to free it up, but it seems fragile and doesn't wanna pop out, what am I missing for a clean removal of the trim panel.
I am new here and this is my first post so if I missed an old post with a similar issue just sent a link. Thanks
