i know it controls the air/fuel ratio and might cause my motor to run lean or rich but is it in the ecu itself? would i need to replace the ecu to fix it? let me know!

What ecu are you using? Has this ecu worked in the past with no codes?

Sounds like the MAP sensor. Yes, it will make your car run like ***...

No, it's not in the ECU, it's mounted on either the firewall, or the intake mani/throttle body. It will be a little black rectangle, and will be labeled MAP sensor.

If it goes bad, you must replace it.

You have both the MAP and BARO sensors. BARO sensor is usually located inside the ECU, thus fixing it means replacing the whole ECU.

Do you have a VAFC or some other fuel controller?
