In started swaping my d16y8 because my friend blew it while he was driving it:/(lucky me) i bought a d15b7 but its obd1 and my ek is obd2 now i changed the dizzy and alternator hoping that it would make it work to obd2 any one know if i need to do anything if it will work? if i need to do anything else to make this swap work? i already took engine out and started putting the wire harnes on d15b7 i just wanna know if everything is gonna work out cuz my friend came over couple days ago and said it wasnt gonna work, i started too plug al connectors in anyone know how many plugs are gona been left untouched/ if any? sence its diff engine?

put the y8 intake manifold with rail and injectors on the b7. your y8 ecu might not be the best choice for the b7. maybe look for a y7 ecu? itll run regardless on the y8 ecu, so i guess try it out and see how it runs. what exactly did he break on the engine? id swap heads if your y8 head is still good. search for "mini-me", its easy, and youll end up with a new headgasket, timing belt, and water pump, not to mention youll still have vtec.
