Help with Wiring. Gsr motor into an EG.
Just purchased an EG shell due to my DC gsr being in a wreck. Im going to swap my motor into the EG which has the engine harness. the last owner told me he was having problems with his vtec with the wiring harness. so i was wondering if i can just take my wires from my integra and just put it into my EG? whatever i need to buy to make this thing run please let me know. thanks a lot.

just run the engine harness from the dc into the eg and you will also need the axles, shiftlinkage, and the ecu from the gsr

Re: (xblitz22)
i believe you would have to do some fab. work to make it fit but if you don't feel like doin that just get a ex manual gauge cluster..(i am assuming you don't have a tach. or that you just want the interga cluster in there for ***** and giggles?)

Re: (xblitz22)
you shouldn't have to..you don't have to worry what runs in the car being that all the gauges and stuff in the cabin get there readings from the ecu.so in reality all you need is the engine harness and the ecu

Re: (mini-meEj1)
well unless your shell had a vtec engine before you need to add the wires for that and you will also have to wire up the knock sensor and the secondary butterflies to use the p72

Yup.
Here's a few helpful items to locate proper pin location to add IAB (butterfly) and knock sensor wires:
And some detailed pin-outs in case you need them:
