HELP: Type R Door Panel Inserts (Cant Find DIY)
ok so i bought material to do the door panels of my ek civic..
and then i take the door panels off and there are these tabs..
idk how to take them off or if i broke them how to put it back on..
does anybody know a DIY that they can show me?
i would realllly appreciated it.. thanks you

what i did was melted the tabs a little then took a knife under them to cut them off. keep the peice you cut off. when you go to reinstall, melt the cut off peice back into the hole for the insert.
I wish i woulda taken pics of of how i did it!

Search for the diy interior project thread. It tells you how to do this. Basically just dremel off the edges of those tabs on the fabric armrest insert. Then when you're done use something like a soldering iron or a hot iron rod to melt the body of that tab again to hold the fabric armrest insert into the door.
