Help with swap problem!
I recently swapped a gsr into my eg civic coupe and whenever i put it in fifth gear, the gear will stay in for bout 30 seconds and then just pop out into neutral...i was thinking that it might be because i currently don't have a rear engine mount on there...or could it just be that the transmission is bad?

Put the rear mount on it, when in 5th gag it some and see if it pops out. The engine could be rocking and popping it out of gear. 5th doesnt see that much abuse and if you dont hear it grinding then it may not be the trans.

Have you tried flushing your tranny fluid? Fifth gear is the highest on the set inside the housing, so it's the first to be dry when low on fluid.
