Help with steering wheel install. s2000
I bought and s2000 wheel it was the type V wheel that some guy had here in his civic hatch but the wheel doesn't fit in my car. 2000 civic ex. The splines on the shaft don't match up. What do i need for this to work? obviously it does cause he had it in his car but he sold it and the guy that bought it from him sold me the wheel and doesn't know how he got it to fit. I need help. Let me know guys thanks.

what I am guessing has happened is that who ever bought the car off of the guy took the hub out of the back of the s2000, to put in a jdm ITR steering wheel so that he could put the ITR one in that car.
So what you probably have now is an s2000 steering wheel with a DC hub.

what exactly do you mean. Do you mean to cut and weld my stock hub or what ? I really want to put this in.

Why don't you SEARCH and PM him? He is probably the only person to have ever done this - only he would know, the rest of us certainly don't.
They Type-V has a different steering hub from the regular S2000. If you had bought a regular S2000 wheel, it would bolt straight on to your '96-00 Civic.

You personally posted this picture in October 2002 and again in May 2003 and claimed it was your car:

Oh God, my mistake, I never even bothered to look at the date on the original post! I feel like an *** now. Sorry SilverCivic2k - I was trying to figure out why you were asking how to install the wheel when you already had it installed. It just didn't click until now.
Now who in the hell brought this thread back from the dead?!?
