Alright, so two weeks ago some lady drives into the side of my 93 civic HB DX (canada) and leaves a nice 3000$ scratch along my door and fender, so i leave work on my break to pickup an estimate and bring it to the insurance so i can start the repair process today! well i need gas so i pull into the OLCO for some gas and order 20 bux, i walk into pay and there debit card machine doesnt work, so i tell her i dont have any money but ill leave my license, run home a block away and bring back the money, she tells me she cant and shes going to have to call the police, instead i call my dad and he saves the day, i walk back to my car to some idiot pounding on the gas door, finally it foces shut (or so he thinks) and leaves, i walk over noticing him struggle and i notice its not sitting properly, and then it pops open itself, i go into the car and lift the button and try to close it, i hear something fall into the car near the gas tank, now the door has nothing to catch and it is open. i ask the guy what he did, and he said nothing and walks inside. i tell him that hes gotta pay and he said he didnt do anything to pay for and locks himself inside the door! WTF? so i rev up to 5 grand and slowly leave a nice 5 foot patch down the driveway. BITCH!

now how the **** can i fix this? i dont have a manual nor do i wanna purchase one because im broke with paying a 500$ deductable on my car from the incident last week. any help appreciated!

1. i open up button and guy pumps gas
2. i go into pay, guy pumps gas
3. i come out, guy forces gas door shut
4. pieces break that hold the door shut (gas door)
5. i leave and guy locks himself in the store

I'd say talk to the owner of the OLCO and get mr monkey to pay up. I've seen some people try and fix the gas door themselves and it looks like ***. But for sure get him to pay and I guess you'll have to take a trip to the garage to get them to weld the piece back on(if thats what fell off). If the owner dosn't do anything I guess you could try and go right to the top but I don't think that'll do much. Good luck.

I take it as someone who works on cars or works at a shop....am I wrong? Don't make it a racial thing if it's not.....

He said monkey in the title, he didn't refer to grease until after I posted. Monkey is a racial slang for an African American, that's why I thought he was being racist. I'm sorry.

It's cool, there was a thread way back when with the title "monkeys stole my car" and we didn't know what the hell he was talking about and it ended up turning into an interracial megabattle.
