Hi guys,I just swapped a jdm b18c type r engine in a 1992 model civic.
The problem is that i'm getting a solid cel and main relay is not working.
When i turn the ignition on the cel comes on and remains on.
What can it be? Can somebody help me please?
I also swapped the interior harness with an si model and the car was with abs and the new harness i put has no abs.
Could it be a problem that it is w/o abs now?

Sounds like a grounds missing.

 

Check - Thermostat ground, tranny ground, valve cover ground, battery ground everything.

 

The ground wires seems all good.I checked also the ecu on another car and it's good also.

 

did you jump wire the ecu to find out the cell #. Because when you turn the car on the check engine light is going to stay on if there is something is wrong.

 

Yes i tried but the cel remained on

 

I tried the exact same thing and mine stayed on too

 

I found that it was a bad fuel pump relay
