HELP! Rubbing with new Rota's and Azenis
Just put on some 205/50/15 Azenis/Rota RNR with a 40 offset and I'm rubbing in the back. I have about a 2.5" drop. I'm running Tanabe Sustec Pro Dampers. I've already cut off about .5" of the fender linings(helped but there is still rubbing under hard to semi-hard cornering). What could it be and how do I check to see what it is hitting?

roll the inner edges of the quaterpanel/fender area. you will see it right on the edge of the wheel well. just bend it up with a baseball bat or something of that nature. should solve your prob.

well if you cut it all off, then go for some DIY widebody. sounds like that might be your only option.
edit: actually, have you corrected your camber yet?

yeah i recommend just getting the correct wheels...cause I dont like the idea of rolling fenders....it can damage your panels if done incorrectly.

Did you take the rubber strip out?
My Azenis are on wheels with a 38 offset and on my EK I removed the rubber liner in the fender edge and cut off about 3/8 inch and I was good. But dont put the rubber back after you cut.

Re: HELP! Rubbing with new Rota's and Azenis (one-syk)
I used to have Buddy Club P1 Racing SF wheels 15x6.5" +40 Offset and 205/50/15 Falken Azenis. I rubbed in the back so I raised my car up a tiny bit and that sorta helped until hard cornering. I also rubbed in the front....oh well, don't have those rims anymore so don't have the problem anymore

I don't, but what kind of a drop do you plan on running?
Something you all should consider is camber specs for the 1992-1995 Civic and the 1996-2000 Civic.
The 1992-1995 Civic allows for -1 degree max up front and -1.3 degrees in the rear before you're out of specs.
The 1996-2000 Civic allows for -1 degree max up front and a full -2 degrees in the rear.
Problem is that most alignment retards don't understand this and they try to 0 out the camber, which will make the tires scrub like hell if the car's lowered a good bit.
I run 205-50-15 Falken Azenis with the +38 offset Rota C8 wheels on my 1992 Cx hatch. I have a bit over a full finger's gap bewtween the top of the rear tires and the wheel well and about a finger's gap up front too. I run -.5 degrees of camber up front and the max of -1.3 degrees of camber in the rear and I wear my Azenis perfectly even.
Lower doesn't always equal better handling anyways.

wierd thing though, when i switched over to jdm spec suspension (itr lca's) the rubbing stopped, either my suspension is so stiff it doesnt rub, or it helped somehow?
