Default HELP:Rear disc conversion

hey, recent l bought a GSR rear disc conversion for my EG HB. When I picked it up, it did not come with the e-brake cable. So what I am wondering is if a 90-93 Teg -ebrake cable will work on the DC conversion. If you have any suggestion, please help. If you are not going to HELP, please keep your comments to yourself- that would greatly be appreciated.

TIA

Not sure if its right, but i've heard you will want an EX e-brake cable. I'm currently looking into this stuff myself, checking on a possible del sol rear brake deal.

As long as it's the 2 door not the 4 door. I'm using the 4 door brake cables on my 93 H/B and its a tad bit too long, nevertheless it works!

Okay, my ebrake cable is from a 92( ithink) LS Teg 2DR. I already ran the lines to the parking brake and the rear disc. It just seems like its just too long. Any suggestions?

Thanks for you replies.......

Uhh, not sure about the 2nd Gen Integra brake cables working man. You don't want your car rollin' away from you parked on a hill, since it is too long. Best get the 3rd gen brake cables.

Don't bother cutting corners to save a buck or two. Get the g3 Integra cables.

The EG Civic EX or SI cables will work as well. You should be able to get those from just about any junk yard.

The length of the cable is not a concern as long as it attaches to the rear brake and E-Brake handle correctly. Your more concerned with the correct Holding Tension in the cable. As long as you can set the E-Brake to hold your car on a decent slope with 4 clicks you'll be fine and safe. Most of the time when people do this swap, as I did from a Del Sol, you need a longer cable to fit correctly. Too long of a cable will work, just zip tie it to the frame in a few more points to take up the sagging part.

The EG EX doesn't come with rear disc brake, I wonder how you would use the drum e-brake cables for rear disc setup?
Get some 3G 2-door Teg cables

Umm, yes they do. (Well, some of them anyway) The rear disc swap for my 95 EX coupe came from a 92 EX sedan. (That cable'll work too )

From 1994 up, 4 wheel disc brakes were avaible on cars equiped with optional ABS
