rear brake lights wont ingage 3rd light too changed fuse and bulbs the light comes on when i turn the headlights but when i step on them nothin this is for a 94 civic hatch

3rd brake light, high-mount
does not turn on when lights are on, only when brake is pressed...
has anything happened to your rear hatch that the wire could have been nipped/cut?
if so that could be the reason, to check if it has been cut, use a test lamp or multimeter and test for voltage at that point.
check your connections again, if it isn't in properly it might not be getting juice any way..
try changing the bulb again, they are only a few cents.

no more hellp i try to test the brake pedal with a test light and its not getting power ive checked thefuse its good but no power going to the switch also changed the little thing that activates the switch and nothing... this is for my brake lights all 3 they do not come on....they do come on when i turn the headlight switch thats the but when i step on the brake the other filliment does not turn on help please headache

where would the ground for the tail lights be and also my horn does not work i replaced it ...my car is haveing a bunch of wiring problems and i also noticed my clock light is not work can all this be because i put a radio in?

i know i have the same problem in my EK hatch. Exact same problem with the lights. But i found out that the horn and the brake lights are on the same fuse. Every time i changed a fuse and blew the horn it worked but as soon as i hit the breaks, the would light up for a split second, then blow a fuse. If you find out.lol let me know! or vise-versa
