3rd brake light, high-mount

does not turn on when lights are on, only when brake is pressed...

has anything happened to your rear hatch that the wire could have been nipped/cut?

if so that could be the reason, to check if it has been cut, use a test lamp or multimeter and test for voltage at that point.

check your connections again, if it isn't in properly it might not be getting juice any way..

try changing the bulb again, they are only a few cents.

i know i have the same problem in my EK hatch. Exact same problem with the lights. But i found out that the horn and the brake lights are on the same fuse. Every time i changed a fuse and blew the horn it worked but as soon as i hit the breaks, the would light up for a split second, then blow a fuse. If you find out.lol let me know! or vise-versa
