I cracked my girlfriends tranny case and it was dripping tranny fluid so i grabbed a obd2 d series tranny for a killer deal but there are a few things diffrent. The mount for the passenger tranny mount is diffrent and there are 2 plugs that dont go to anthing. HELP PLEASE....

there are no more connectors on a obd1 than there are an obd2, the only connectors on the tranny are the backup light switch (2 wires) and the speedo (3 wires, on top of the differential carrier) this is assuming its a manual tranny, might wanna tell us everything about it if you expect help.

Is this an autotrans? Because I just rebuilt a Z6 tranny in my bathroom, and it looks just like my GF's Y8 trans.

it is an auto tranny im not converting it or anything. Ill take pics of it later today..

ok so here are the 2 main diffrences i have problems with there are to solenoids that my ex obd1 tranny dint have.

1.linear solenoid
2. shift control solenoid assembly

HELP!
