HELP PLEASE!!!
hi guys, i got a 93 civic ex , i tookout the engine and i got a jap spec d16zc sohc vtech. i also have a turbo kit for it, i built it all up and put it in. The idle dose not stay well , it gose up and down constantly, the engine check is on and stays on and i dont know where to look for the codes, the ecu dose not have a light,i also installed a AEM cam gear and i triple checked the procedures and its fine. the valves sounds bad but i can re set them.what can be wrong ??? is the ides normal like that??and where do i check the engine codes??oh yeah i do have the ex ecu and thats what i am running in the car. please help and i did check all my vacuum lines and there oK.

First jump your service connector. Its located on the passenger side kick panel. This will tell you the cel(check engine light) code. Then turn your ignition to on. It will appear on your dash with long and short flashes. You'll have to count it to see what the code is. Here's a pic to explain the cel light. If yoru rpm idles up and down it could be your (intake air control valve) IACV. Do this first and let us know

look underneath the glovebox next to the kick panel. you see it with a green platic boot or brown cover. You have to reach in or try shining a flashlight at it. Its in there.
