I was driving my car and i accidentally over reved it i shifted from 3rd gear to 2nd getting on the freeway but i caught it kinda on time so i pushed the clutch. my redline is set at 8 and i reved it to 9500 the head is not build and its a GSR motor. i did compression test the next day and it was 230,225,230,225 all the way across the board. but im still kinda worried and wondering if maybe i could of bent a valve?
Please tell me what you guys think i will greatly appreciate it. thanks guys

it is not safe to do that but you worrie too much....one of my cousin downshifted from 5th to 2nd...now that was major whiplash....his car still ran o.k. tho...

you'll b alright, if something was to happed to your motor because u did that, you'd know it by now

ohh damn lucky him cause this **** has happened to me before and i was able to tell right away that there were bent valves. but this time it seems like its still running alright and i dont hear any ticking soo...
