help:obd2a to obd1
i got a obd1 b18b1 motor and swaped it into my 96 ek DX hatch and having a hard time figuring out how to convert the harness to obd1... how many plugs would i have to change? i have the jumper harness already... juss the wiring harness from the firewall to the motor... HOW MANY PLUGS DO I HAVE TO CHANGE AND HOW MANY ARE NOT PLUG TO THE MOTOR...??? LET ME KNOW HAVING A HARD TIME AND BOUT TO KILL MYSELF...

do a search, seriously, if you type obd2a to obd1 into google your'll find it. I did what your trying to do and your lucky i'm nice. There should be a very helpful big pic on the link below and don't forget to get manuals for your car and the donor car.

this is for v-tec tho im talkin bout the wiring harness to plug to the motor... some of the sensors wont plug in....

If you need to figure out what goes where or doesn't anywhere. Get a manual for both cars (yours and the motor). look up the engine and it'll tell you what sensors are what, from there you can figure out what you need and don't. It gets confusing but if you study it, you'll figure it out. That's what I had to do.
