Default HELP! newbie with 97 civic.

heyyo.

***i dont know why but i can't post up a "WANT TO BUY" new topic... maybe i'm still on trial version? how do i shake that?

***what's some good keywords for phrases to use in the search to look for sellers with the parts i want... i've tried "civic conversion 00" and "civic front end conversion" but only so many things come up. help me out.

***what i basically want is good cheap parts for a 99-00 front end conversion for my 97. how much should i look into for a good price? and if anyone in the seattle area gots it, let me know. please.

i was told that you need to change teh radiator support too... is that true, or can i skip that and jus go for the lights, bumper, hood, and fender?

***i also wanna do a 01+ conversion on the ignition... can someone give me some info about that. and how much i should be looking forward to...

yea, that'z it.. help would mos definately help. thanx.

Fortunatly for you if you like the JDM look. PasswordJDM.com has made it easy for you to convert your car. Kits start at $750 (plus shipping) and go up to $1350. The lowest kit includes headlights, fenders, front bumper and grill.

http://www.passwordjdm.com/pro...D=253

I'll be doing one of those kits to my car (cuz the front end is wrecked). I haven't heard anything about the radiator support having to be changed.

Also.. about the ignition. Why would you even bother with this?

serious?? last time i checked you can grab a 99 front end for 350 complete: headlights grill, hood, fenders, bumper, lip...

since youre not able to post a thread. go check this page out. im assuming you would want to look into the 'NORTHWEST' thread http://hondamarketplace.com/zeroforum?id=62

you wont be able to IM the users but you can click on their username and email them.

good luck

yea... i thought 350 was about right too.

so i dont need to change the radiator support? cuz i heard you did.

and i want to change the ignition because civics are real easy to hotwire... and i know the security on the ignition went up on the 01 models, that's why i was interested... because i dont wanna use lotz of money then get jacked.

if anyone has a front, let me know. and i've look in the northwest classified, there's nothing to get.

get at me asap. thanx for those who replied.
