Help My Civic Please
I have a 93 honda civic dx with a Vtech from a 98 intgra gsr... headers, exhaust, intake, short shifter, blah blah.... anyways.
When I get on my car black smoke comes out, and when I take my foot off the gas too shift or too slow down, it has a little back fire.. and some times.. I dont hit V-tech in first gear... it sounds like I do... but I don't go much faster.. these seems too happen when my car gets hot. I need too pass emisions as well.. and I think this is probably the reason Im not passing

Re: Help My Civic Please (wilsel)
I hope that there are still people interested in this topic because I am having a real hard time with my 99 civic ex. Recently I bought the entire suspension of a 00 civic si off of ebay and I decided to switch out the rear brakes first on my 99 civic. I had tried this once before with the rear brakes of a integra but then I was riding for a while without the right e-brake cable. So intead I bought a whole new suspension to try an eliminate all the problems I had.
Now that the rear suspension is changed I can feel the rear shift whenever I hit a bump and when I go over 40mph in the rain. I have no idea what was done wrong, I did not do the work myself because I had no time therefore I do not know where to look. Has anyone ever had these problems before or know what might have been missed?
Please help!
Eve
