ok, my mods are a Field VTEC/Fuel controller, short ram intake, and generic 4-1 header....here's my problem(s)....sometimes the car won't start, it leans all the way out and i can tap the controller and it'll be fine, but all my fuel points are set at 0, so i've not messed with that....it'll throw the knock sensor CEL at almost redline, but i can cut it off for a sec and clear the light, but it will go to limp mode even when the light isn't on.....i've checked the wiring for a short or something, which i'm gonna do again tomorrow, but this is really pissin me off....what could trip the knock sensor and why in the hell is the controller makin my car stall?

yea, a few pretty much point the the controller, but i'm sorta lookin for some specific info cuz this is my daily driver and need something sorta quick, but thanks anyway

i had the same exact problem with my Fields Vtec Controller. I shut that bitch off and the CEL never came back on. Problem solved.

i tried that too and it still went into the limp mode bullshit...if i was really experiencing knock(which i don't hear), what could be causing it?
