Help me solve this d15b7's stutering problem (video inside)
Okay, here's the breakdown:
- Brother's car (1992 4-door EX with a D15B7) one day decides to shut off and not start
- We buy a brand new distributor from Honda (prior to the distributor dying, the car ran fine) now the car stutters on acceleration..
- We adjusted timing.. still stutters
- We changed sparkplugs, wires... still stuttters... the plugs and wires helped for abit and then it got worse overtime...
This is the original thread I posted awhile back = https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1839689
We are stumped, it's gotten even worse now so I decided to check out on the sparkplugs and make a video:
I was doing quick full throttle revs... you can see it stutters pretty bad (and then eventually boged out stalled... too much gas or something?)
Any help is appreciated...

bump..... my brother just called me now, tells me the car just stalls and there's "metal" noises coming from the motor... that can't be good..
[edit]
so I checked it out, reset the fuse and drove it home... i made a video of the idle...
