Default Help! Lowered Car, Ticking noises in the back!

as the topic says: after i lowered my car 1.5 in the front and 1 in the back, its been making "ticking" noises in the rear. Has something to do with the "CV Boot"? thats what someoen told me. What should i do to fix this problem? cost? time? whatever you can give me will be mucho gracias

cv boots are part of your axles, at each front corner. you don't have any cv boots in the rear, unless you have awd or rwd. by the way, is the noise coming from rear inside the car, or outside?

you probably didnt properly seat the spring when you installed it. the sound is probably the spring shifting. could also be the springs hitting each other O_o

details man!

correct! its in the back, the noise seems from the outside. if this ticking noise keeps happening, will my car exploded? well something jsut as bad?

no your car will not exploded!

Check your brakes, i once had a noise coming from my rear brakes in my sentra and low and behold i had a rock stuck in there, go figure.

But it seems as though your springs arent seated right
