did you cut the bumpstop if so how much did you cut off, if you cut too much your uca is prob hitting against the fender well

No it doesn't.....you should always replace your shocks when replacing it with lowering springs.

if your on stock stocks then you should have cut part of the bumpstop to allow the suspension to a travel a lil bit. Since you lowered the car 2.5 inches you prob only have less then a inch of travel before you bottom out.

lowering you car that much on stock shocks is somewhat retarded.
its probably not hitting, it just feels awful because its lowered on STOCK SHOCKS
when i lowered my crx i contacted the inner fender, i had to bang it out with a sledge hammer.

on stock shocks i usually cut half of it off, leave the top half in the car. But with performance shocks you may not want to cut the bumpstops due to the short compression of the shock.

well you can deal with riding on your bumpstops until you buy new shocks but if you cant stand it then go ahead and cut the bumpstops for now.

If your UCA is hitting the shock tower, you might want to raise it up enough to keep it from hitting... Cutting bump stops won't alleviate that portion of your problems...
