Default Help Immediately!

I just put my cams back in my car two days ago and today i was driving home and could smell oil. I pop the hood and take the spark plugs out ans there is oil in the 1st and 2nd spark plug walls. It is also slightly leaking oil at the corners of the valve cover where the bolts come through. Valve cover gasket maybe? How much will this cost and will the oil leak back down into the head from the spark plugs?

The leak would be the valve cover gasket. When you or whomever put the valvecover back on it must have touched something before it lined up. That would cause a leak.

ON your spark plug tubes, are you sure they put in the "Tube Seals" cuz thats the only way those would leak? Where all the bolts tighten'd afterwards??

the could be the *O* rings which seal each plug...could be a seal gone bad or they might not be set right..but ull have to go to honda to pick the set up...u can t just buy one or 2 rings..uve go to get the whole set..i think there s something like 12 seal s in the set..cost was like $20 the whole thing..this was a couple of yrs ago on my 98 coupe

You need to get the valve cover gasket with grommets. That's exactly what you'll be asking for.....and you should'nt need new wires, just plugs. You can get a mild degreaser for the wires.
Make sure not to overtighten the valve cover as that will make you leak as well...

I got my tube seals for a lil over 2 bucks a peice at the dealer and they sell them separate....but I'd buy all 4......the valve cover gasket was like 12-16 bucks.... all OEM!!

Thanks for all the replies guys. I am just a ******* moron (sorry about the language but thats all there is to say). I forgot to put the 4 nuts on underneath the plug wire cover. duh? I think the valve cover was slightly off line too. I only have 2 nuts (no pun) so I gotta go buy 2 more at Honda which is only about 1/2 mile away.
Thanks
And for H-T no one on clubsi even replied back to me yet.
