Default help ideal question

after i got water sucked up into my intake when i start my car the rpms drop to like 500 hundered and after i rev it they go to like 1000 or 900 when its already warm what could be the problem thanks for any help in advance

Any CELs? and have you tried cleaning the FITV? I just cleaned my FITV today and it helped out my idle tremendously.

Man, what the hell is a FITV? This is like the 90th time I've heard that term and have no idea what it stands for...

It APPEARS that that "how-to" you linked him to is for the IACV...but what the hell is a FITV?

This have any counterparts (part that does the same thing w/ different name) on a V8?

You can do it without removing the intake manifold, it's a bit tight in there with a ratchet but it's very doable. Took me about 20 minutes.
