Help, engine leaking coolant.....?
This is for my brother, hes in L.A. and im in Washingto so I can't figure it out for him.
He says it dribbles out of a "hole" in the back of the block. I looked on a spare d15 I
have and I think he is missing a plug on the back of the block on the drivers side. Is
this sounding right to anyone?
Thanks for the help dre, yeah he lives down in califonia, just bought
a 92si for 1500$ and it needs some work.

I'll second that, although your brother said it was coming from the back.

No drain plug on that side, more then likely its the little hole on the water pump. Try hondaautomotiveparts.com for a new one.

when the pump is bad it will drip out of a small drip hole. that tells you that it will be going completely bad soon. you can still drive it like that for a while as long as the drips dont get any bigger.... the water pump and seal is usually changed everytime the cam belt is changed. seeing how thats the usual period of a bad water pump. 60,000 miles in general
tell your bro to get the helms manual in my sig so he knows how to fix it..

Thats what im worried about. Hes really good at fixing stuff, but cars
are not his specialty. Think it will be that hard for someone to figure out,
not being very experienced with hondas?
