help... Eg stalling
i have a 92 civic SOHC non-vtec.... it has around 116k miles on it and runs great. I was at my friends house and had just turned off the motor. I had to move it like 2 minutes later, and i go to turn it on.. it turns on.. sputters then stalls out... i try 2 more times with it in neutral and my clutch is all the way down... it keeps stallling... so i put it in first gear and start it and it starts fine. This incodent has happened to me only once before about 2 months ago. I always park it in neutral. Why would this sputtering and stalling be?? im thinking spark plugs but why would tihs only happen once in a great while?? help pls

Re: help... Eg stalling (CarbonCivic)
from the sound of your name it looks to me thats whats in your motor...carbon...and lots of it...jk...try using some seafoam to clear out some of the crap thats in your engine...also give it a tune up...you can buy seafoam at any napa auto parts store or auto zone...follow directions exactly

Re: help... Eg stalling (CarbonCivic)
pull your plugs and check them out. a set of plugs is like $8. you could also look into replacing your fuel filter which is about $30. these things are regular maintnance and certainly arent going to negetively affect your car.
