Default help on d16 swap

hi... i have a ef doing a d16z swap. i'm using a obd1 injectors with obd0 ecu. do i still need the resistor box? please help thanks

strongly recommend doing OBD1 conversion if you are using a vtec engine.
no resisteor box necessary for z6 injectors.

well... i'm not going obd1. i'm just going with dpfi to mpfi cause i saw those were cheap.
